Airport
The nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport, approximately 60 km from Bhimtal. It is located in the middle of two main cities of Kumaon – Haldwani and Rudrapur. It is 26 km from Haldwani and from the Kumaon hill stations of Nainital (65 km), Bhimtal (50 km), Ranikhet (110 km) and Almora (120 km), Bareilly (65 km) and the Jim Corbett National Park (120 km).

If you want to go to Pithoragarh without the hustle of a four-hour road journey, you can take a 30-minute flight from Pantnagar Airport to Pithoragarh Naini Saini Airport.
The bus station is a little far from the airport, so you need to take a taxi or private car to reach your destination.
What We Offer ?

In recent times, a rapid surge of vehicles has created a traffic problem in the hills. We are very concerned about the situation, so in order to minimise the traffic, we offer traveller service to all tourists who want to come to Bhimtal. We also request that tourists leave their cars at Haldwani station and take our traveller service. Traveler service is free for all guests who have booked their stay in Bhula Homestay.
We provide a pick-up and drop-off service from Pantnagar Airport to our homestay on request. Please provide us with details when you book your stay with us.
Travel Tips
-
We recommend packing warm clothing, even in summer. Our homestay is located in the midst of hills and forests, so the temperature is relatively cooler than Bhimtal town.
-
If you have an adventurer's spirit and wish to trek, you must visit the place in Autumn (September to November).
-
Respect local customs. When visiting temples, dress modestly. People in Kumaon are friendly and helpful. You can easily talk to them and understand local culture and traditions.
-
We strictly follow environmental sustainability and also suggest guests dispose of waste properly and avoid using plastic.
-
Stick to marked trails in the forest to protect flora and fauna.
